Babylon Circle: Shadow Squadron

Twelve are its members, thirteen are their ring.
They sit in a circle, not one sits as king.

Ares and Hades, Prometheus too,
Apollo and Jupiter, Cronos, Neptune.

Vulcan and Caelus, the fire and sky,
Hermes and Erebus, the messenger and spy.

Atlas completes the circle of men,
Hyperion joins from the underworld den.

Babylon Circle, the ring stands unbroken,
But hark! Hear the message…

The archangel has woken

The Babylon Circle trilogy enters the world’s backstage, where empires rise and fall at the whims of twelve men. Unchallenged, unseen, even unheard of. Till one man risks all in the name of revenge.

Ten by ten by ten cubicle, masonry block construction. White paint on the walls, no windows. A bare sixty watt bulb hangs precariously by its wires, intermittently flickering. A single four by six door on one wall, three inches thick and made of solid steel, hinges on my left. Opposite the door is a single steel bed frame, where I sit, assessing my situation.

Shadow Squadron is the story of a young man who wakes up in a place he’s never been, only to realize he doesn’t know who he is or where he’s from. Everyone he meets tells him a different story. Who can he trust? What is the truth? And why is he really here?
